A6 mission teams can provide manpower and support for a relatively longer duration, with staff and student teams working alongside the local ministry to help build momentum that is crucial at the pioneering stage.
SSLM (Staff & Student-Led Movements)Though SLM stands for Student-Led Movements, staff are equally important in campus ministry. Sustainable movements are only possible when both students and staff shoulder their unique and complementary roles. Typically, staff will lead 'TRAIN & SEND' components, while students lead 'WIN & BUILD', ensuring that the movement is not only spontaneous and innovative, but also grounded and tempered.
Building Multiplying LeadersA primary goal of A6 is to foster spiritual multiplication by mobilizing multiplying disciples, because a ministry only becomes a movement when multiplication occurs. A6 focuses foremost on building Multiplying Disciples (MDs), using simple and practical processes to develop spiritual leaders who can begin to disciple others.
Full-Bodied DiscipleshipOur desire is for every disciple to be fully mature in Christ, engaged in both personal discipleship and community discipleship. A6 integrates a careful balance of classic discipleship, spiritual formation, and environmental discipleship, to ensure that no aspect is neglected or overemphasized.
Planting MissionsSince our desire is to see spiritual multiplication, A6 challenges every student to begin engaging in the Great Commission from the time they are connected to the movement. With the simplicity and transferability of the A6 strategy, we believe that even new movements can become sending ministries, and join us in pioneering new campuses.
