Pioneering Process

A6 Field Ministry refers to international or domestic mission projects where the local team works together with an outside mission team, usually from another country. A6 Field Ministry can have different goals depending on the local need, including strengthening, penetrating, or pioneering campuses. Duration, team size, and activities may also vary. Goals are always long-term, with a detailed and extensive process, from the planning stage, to recruitment, training, and execution. The following explains the pioneering process when inviting a mission team from another country.

  Planning Together

First the hosting country invites a research team from the sending country to visit and begin the planning process. Together they will make the strategic plan, set goals, and decide on a ministry schedule.

After the planning is completed, each side proceeds with project promotion, recruitment, and preparations in their respective countries.

  Working Together

The local staff team leads the project, working together with the mission team 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for the duration of the project.

Primary focus is on existing students who already have a sense of ownership in the ministry. Usually A6 offers MD Training at the beginning of the project for current members so they can be equipped to work alongside the mission team.

As the mission team and local team work together, they will gather and build up additional new members. The mission team will assist the PMDs to make their own disciples. After a few weeks, some of them might be ready to be recognized and commissioned as official MDs.
